Individual pulse emission from the diffuse drifter PSR J1401 − 6357 using the ultrawideband receiver on the Parkes radio telescope

ABSTRACT In this study, we report on a detailed single pulse analysis of the radio emission from pulsar J1401 − 6357 (B1358 63) based data observed with ultrawideband low-frequency receiver Parkes telescope. addition to weak leading component, integrated profile features single-humped structure slight asymmetry. The frequency evolution is studied. Well-defined nulls, an estimated nulling fraction greater than 2 per cent, are present across whole band. No detected significance above 3σ in average over all null pulses. Using fluctuation spectral analysis, reveal existence temporal-dependent subpulse drifting for first time. A clear double-peaked feature at exactly alias border band, which suggests that apparent drift sense changes during observation. Our observations provide further confirmation phenomena and independent observing frequency, suggest they invoke global magnetospheric scale.
